TFN’s Enrolment Clerk/Indian Registry Administrator is responsible for maintaining TFN membership records and also acts as a liaison to the Indian Registrar of the Department of Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada (AANDC).

Please note: application for TFN Membership is a separate process from applying for Status registration. Becoming a TFN Member does not automatically mean you are registered as a Status Indian.

Applications for enrolment as a Tsawwassen Member are reviewed by the Tsawwassen Enrolment Committee, which is made up of 5 Tsawwassen Members. If you wish to apply for enrolment please review the application form to see the enrolment criteria and documents required with your application. Completed applications should be forwarded to the Enrolment Clerk using one of the following methods:

Status Registration

TFN’s Indian Registry Administrator (IRA) is available to assist Members with applications for Status registration, issuing CIS (Status) cards, and registering events (including births, marriages, divorces, legal name changes, and deaths) with Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada (AANDC). The IRA acts as TFN’s liaison to the Indian Registrar at AANDC.
