Recreation Centre

Rec-Centre-resizedAll community gatherings and indoor sports activities are held in the recreation centre. With a full commercial kitchen, it is ideal to host a wide variety of functions including Legislative Assembly meetings, community dinners, training seminars and workshops, and TFN’s annual Christmas Craft Fair.

Longhouse-resizedThe current longhouse was built in 1995, after more than 50 years without a Longhouse in the community. This structure is used to practice and protect our culture and traditions. Activities inside include naming ceremonies, memorials, winter dancing, and feasts. The Longhouse is also used for the opening and closing meetings of the Tsawwassen Legislative Assembly sessions, as well as other community and public gatherings.
