Who We Are Indigenous Film Series
June 21 to July 4 on VIFF Connect
Co-presented by Museum of Vancouver (MOV) and
Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF)
The Who We Are film series, co-hosted by MOV and VIFF, is an Indigenous film series featuring works representative of a diversity of voices. Selected by a jury of Indigenous curators, these films portray Indigenous characters with humour, agency and grit. The films in this series challenge pervasive stereotypes of Indigeneity by showcasing a diversity of Indigenous experiences – whether they are framed as traditional or contemporary, speak to gender equality and sexuality, or are based in urban or residential settings, and all showcase Indigeniety in an equally authentic manner.
For more information and ticket/passes, visit https://goviff.org/who-we-are-series.
The Who We Are series pass and tickets are free to Indigenous Peoples.
