Watermain Flushing March 14 to April 28, 2023
The annual water distribution system flushing program on Tsawwassen First Nation Lands will be conducted from March 14 through to April 28. This work will take place Monday to Friday between 7:30 AM and 3:30 PM. Watermain flushing helps to maintain good water quality by clearing sediments that accumulate over time in the water distribution system.
The flushing process may temporarily cause low water pressure and/or water discoloration. If discoloration or sediment is noticed after flushing, please run the cold water tap at your bathtub for several minutes until the water clears. Any discolouration you may see does NOT pose a health hazard and this water is safe to drink. If the condition persists, please contact the TFN Lands Department at (604) 948-0694.
The planned schedule for watermain flushing is as follows, although these dates are subject to change:
- Tsatsu Shores Drive & area – March 14-27
- Orca Way (Seaside) – March 20-24
- Tsawwassen Drive North and South & area – March 27-31
- Between Blue Heron Way and Hawk Lane – April 3-14
- Hemlock Way, Hazelnut Way, and Fisherman Way – April 17-28
