Notice to Residents: Watermain Flushing on Tsawwassen Lands – February 19 to April 5, 2024
The annual water distribution system flushing program on Tsawwassen First Nation Lands will be conducted from February 19th through to April 5th. This work will take place Monday to Friday between 7:30 AM and 3:30 PM. Watermain flushing helps to maintain good water quality by clearing sediments that accumulate over time in the water distribution system.
The flushing process may temporarily cause low water pressure and/or water discoloration. If discoloration or sediment is noticed after flushing, please run the cold water tap at your bathtub for several minutes until the water clears. Any discolouration you may see does NOT pose a health hazard and this water is safe to drink. If the condition persists, please contact the TFN Lands Department at (604) 948-0694.
