Tsawwassen Traditional Laws Revitalization Project

TFN Members are warmly invited to the launch of the Tsawwassen Traditional Laws Revitalization Project, a community workshop series rooted in xʷelməxʷ, the teachings and values that guide Tsawwassen people in living a good life.
This initiative offers a meaningful opportunity to reflect on and revitalize the traditional laws that shape who we are as a Nation.
xʷelməxʷ speaks to the laws that guide our relationships with one another, with the land, and with all our relations. Every Tsawwassen Member carries knowledge and teachings that can help guide and shape this important work.
Join us for the first workshop, led by Prof. Sarah Morales (Su-taxwiye) and Laxele’wuts’aat, Hereditary Chief Shana Thomas of Lyackson First Nation, to learn more about the project and the principles of Indigenous law.
