The Həlel̓əm Collective is Tsawwassen First Nation’s arms-length housing authority, created to support Members through safe, stable, and culturally grounded housing.
Our work is guided by TFN teachings, trauma-responsive practices, and a commitment to fairness, clarity, and accountability.
What Is the Həlel̓əm Collective?
The Collective manages TFN housing with a dedicated professional team focused solely on housing services, long-term planning, and tenant support.
Why It Was Created
TFN’s housing needs have grown and evolved. A dedicated housing authority allows homes to be managed consistently and transparently—while keeping TFN values at the centre.
Housing is not just about buildings. It is about healing, belonging, and creating a strong future for Members.
What We Do
- Housing management & maintenance
- Tenancy services and support
- Long-term housing planning
- Development of future housing options
Member Rights & TFN Commitments
Member rights and Treaty rights remain fully protected.
The Collective does not change who receives housing or TFN’s responsibilities to Members.
Rent-setting approaches remain consistent with TFN’s established practices.
Our Values
- Guided by TFN culture and teachings
- Trauma-responsive and healing-centred
- Accountable and transparent
