We would like to begin by recognizing the outstanding care that Dr. Shelly Eckland-Jetzer has provided to our community since she started seeing TFN members. Since her arrival, Dr. Eckland-Jetzer has supported and cared for numerous TFN members and their loved ones. The positive feedback we’ve received speaks to her dedication, compassionate approach, and her commitment to addressing the healthcare needs of our community.
Due to the growing demand for her services, she has made the decision to temporarily slow down accepting new patients. We understand the concern this may cause. However, please note that Dr. Eckland-Jetzer will be establishing a waitlist and new patients will be added to her practice as her capacity increases.
We want to emphasize how fortunate we are to have Dr. Eckland-Jetzer in our community, especially considering the ongoing shortage of doctors across BC. The number of individuals seeking her care reflects the critical need for healthcare providers, and we are deeply grateful for the support she has been able to offer.
We ask for your continued patience and understanding as Dr. Eckland-Jetzer works to manage her current patient load and gradually expands her capacity. We are confident that as she adjusts to the overwhelming demand, she will continue to provide exceptional care to all of her patients.
