Notice is hereby given that the Tsawwassen First Nation has called an election to be held on 15th of October, 2022 in accordance with the Tsawwassen First Nation 2009 Election Act for the purpose of eligible Electors electing one (1) candidate for the Office of Chief and thirteen (13) candidates for Legislative Member of the Tsawwassen Government for a 4-year term.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Nominating Candidates:
A candidate must be eligible for the office for which they wish to be a candidate and must be nominated at the nomination meeting:
- (a) verbally, by two eligible voters, or
- (b) by a mail-in nomination in the prescribed form, supported by two eligible voters, that is received by the Election Officer before the close of the nomination meeting.
To stand as a Candidate, a Nominee must complete an Acceptance of Nomination Form and provide it to the Election Officer before the close of the Nomination Meeting.
