The annual water distribution system flushing program on Tsawwassen First Nation Lands will be conducted from March 30th through to April 30th, 2026. This work will take place Monday to Friday between 7:30 AM and 3:30 PM.
Watermain flushing helps to maintain good water quality by clearing sediments that accumulate over time in the water distribution system. The flushing process may temporarily cause low water pressure and/or water discolouration. If discolouration or sediment is noticed after flushing, please run the cold water tap at your bathtub for several minutes until the water clears.
Any discolouration you may see does NOT pose a health hazard and this water is safe to drink. If the condition persists, please contact the Utilities Department at (604) 952-6004 or email utilities@tsawwassenfirstnation.com.
