Cancellation Guidelines

All costs associated with attendance at the Members Gathering - including transportation, meals, and accommodation - are covered by the Nation for Members who attend the event. Please note that the following deadlines and charge-back guidelines also apply to non-Member spouses/partners who register to attend the AGM and workshop sessions.

Registration Deadline

Registration for the 2026 Members Gathering closes at 4:30 p.m. on July 15, 2026.

Cancellation Deadline

Registrations may be cancelled without penalty until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, August 15, 2026. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to: -Michelle Baker -Email: mbaker@tsawwassenfirstnation.com -Fax: (604) 943-9226

Cancellation Fees

Registrations cancelled after 4:30 p.m. on August 17, 2026 will incur a $250 cancellation fee.

No-Show Policy

Individuals who do not cancel their registration and do not attend the Members Gathering ("no-shows") will be charged the full accommodation and meal costs incurred for the weekend's events.

AGM and Workshop Attendance Requirements

Members and spouses who attend the Gathering but miss the AGM and/or workshop sessions will be charged $75 for each session missed. Elders and individuals with special medical needs will not be charged for missed sessions. Elders are encouraged to rest during the event as needed.

Medical Emergencies

Cancellation and charge-back fees may be waived in cases of medical emergencies. Supporting documentation may be requested.

Flight Bookings

Once a flight has been booked and confirmed, it cannot be refunded. Members who do not use their booked flights will be charged the full cost of the flight incurred by TFN. Each airline has its own policies regarding changes and cancellations. Members are responsible for any airline change or cancellation fees.
