As of this morning, normal operations have resumed at Berth 3, and the previously established 300-metre exclusion zone has been lifted. Activities in the affected areas, including the Tug Basin, can now proceed as usual.
Out of an abundance of caution, a 50-metre exclusion zone remains in place within the terminal facility as final work is completed.
TFN has been informed that remediation efforts were carried out safely, with no hazardous exposure to the public or surrounding areas. There was no impact on water quality during this process.
