TFN Health and Social Services

Our Nurse Practitioner is seeing patients in a combination of tele-appointments and in-person appointments. This measure was put into place to ensure your safety, the well-being of the most medically vulnerable members and the community as a whole as we prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Mental Wellness

We understand this can be a stressful time so please don’t hesitate to reach out to Raina. She is available for phone counseling sessions. Please call her directly at 778-988-6081. For bookings with Dr. Mervyn, Brenda Casey and Danny Roitberg please call Radika directly to book phone/virtual sessions. A 1-on-1 support or healing circle is also available with Warren McDougall. If members are interested they can connect with Virgil directly: 604-880-8992.

For crisis or afterhours/weekend support members can access the KUU-US crisis line. This services is 24/7 and confidential. KUU-US crisis line: 1-800-588-8717. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stressed, anxious or in crisis, please call the number!

You can stay healthy and prevent the spread of infections by:

  • washing your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
  • avoiding touching your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands
  • avoiding close contact with people who are sick
  • coughing or sneezing into your sleeve and not your hands
  • staying home if you are sick to avoid spreading illness to others

Provincial COVID-19 BC Support App and Self-Assessment Tool

COVID-19 symptoms are similar to a cold or flu and have included:

  • fever
  • cough
  • difficulty breathing
  • pneumonia in both lungs

If you start having symptoms of COVID-19, you need to:

  • Isolate yourself from others as quickly as possible
  • Call a health care professional or 8-1-1 (Health Link BC). Describe your symptoms and travel history. They will provide advice on what you should do
